MS JOSEPHINE MATHEWS

$2500

This compelling portrait depicts an elderly figure partially obscured by a large, weathered wooden post or column, creating a powerful compositional tension between the human subject and the architectural element. The subject, wearing wire-rimmed glasses, peers with a penetrating, contemplative gaze that speaks to decades of lived experience and quiet resilience. The cropped framing and diagonal placement of the wooden structure create an intimate yet slightly confrontational perspective, drawing the viewer into a deeply personal moment.
