I once visited Chicago and while enjoying a walk near the riverfront I noticed a group of people simply enjoying each other's company. As I interviewed them, I found that all of them were homeless. In fact, they were at a homeless park. they even had a homeless dog, and their story of survival was compelling enough that I wanted to immortalize them. I paid them each 5 dollars to allow me the opportunity to paint them. As I departed, the woman said, "We'll be fine...we're all the same here"
