The setting Haiti, the event, the 2010 earthquake...they searched the rubble for victims' day and night. for weeks, recovering the living as they went. They were about to abandoned the search as they had reached the 21st day. They feared anything at this point was a loss. One of the searchers stepped on a board at the close of the search and he thought he heard a sound...he stopped and yes, he heard a sound. Immediately he picked up a board and began digging and screaming, she's here...help me dig. She was 88 years young...they asked how did she last so long without food?...she replied, "I ate the dirt"
